Thanks to GP Dr Homa's passion for surgery and many years of surgical experience, we are able to offer a broader range of responsible surgical care within the GP practice than is usual.
We can help with common minor surgical procedures, such as the treatment of ingrown toenails, moles, sebaceous cysts, lipomas, ganglia, skin tags, and warts. These treatments are performed under local anaesthetic.
In addition, we also treat certain premaligne and maligne skin lesions, such as basal cell carcinoma (BCC), squamous cell carcinoma (SCC), actinic keratosis, Bowen's disease and atypical or dysplastic naevi – when medically justifiable. If necessary, removed tissue is always sent to a pathology laboratory for further examination.
It is important that we assess the spot during a regular consultation first, so we can determine which treatment is most suitable.
All medically necessary minor surgical procedures within the GP practice are fully covered by the basic insurance and will not affect your excess.

Sinds januari van dit jaar is onze huisartsenpraktijk gevestigd op onze nieuwe locatie in het Citycentrum van Veldhoven. Na ruim 16 jaar met veel plezier werkzaam te zijn geweest aan de Kruisstraat als onderdeel van Gezondheidscentrum De Bolzen, was het tijd voor een nieuwe stap.
Met de verhuizing naar CityHuisarts Homa hebben wij gekozen voor meer ruimte om de praktijk verder te ontwikkelen en onze dienstverlening aan u verder te verbeteren. Een moderne praktijk biedt niet alleen een prettige omgeving, maar ook meer mogelijkheden om de zorg persoonlijker, efficiënter en toegankelijker te maken.
Inmiddels zijn we ruim zes maanden verder. We kijken met veel tevredenheid terug op deze periode. De praktijk begint steeds meer haar eigen vorm te krijgen, nieuwe werkprocessen zijn goed ingeburgerd en we merken dat veel patiënten de nieuwe locatie en de bereikbaarheid waarderen. Uiteraard blijven we voortdurend werken aan verdere verbeteringen van onze service en bereikbaarheid.
Ook de komende periode blijven we investeren in digitale dienstverlening, korte communicatielijnen en persoonlijke aandacht. Ons doel blijft hetzelfde als altijd: goede, toegankelijke huisartsenzorg waarbij u als patiënt centraal staat.
Wij willen al onze patiënten bedanken voor het vertrouwen, het geduld tijdens de overgang naar de nieuwe praktijk en de vele positieve reacties die wij de afgelopen maanden hebben ontvangen.
